Notarial services covers a wide range, including but not limited to the registration of bonds over movable or immovable property as security for debt, the authentication of documentation, apostille, cession of or registration of servitudes and the drafting of antenuptial contracts.

Litigation

The process of taking legal action by way of an action or application, depending on the nature and circumstances of each matter and entails bringing a party to court to answer to your claim against said party or defending a claim brought against you.

Personal Injury Claims

This area of the law covers all claims for compensation for bodily injuries as well as claims for loss of income and damages suffered as a result of injuries suffered by the hand of another person or entity. This includes claims in terms of the Road Accident Fund Act and claims for solatium as a result of defamation etc.

Labour Law

Labour law, which is largely governed by the Labour Relations Act and Basic Conditions of Employment Act, entails the fair governing of the relationship between employer and employee/trade union and entails various rules regarding substance and procedure.

Conveyancing/ Registration of Bonds

This area of the law deals with the acquisition of immovable property, the sale of immovable property as well as the registration of bonds over immovable property for ABSA Bank and First Rand Bank.

Company Law

Deceased Estates

Entails the administration of a deceased person's estate where a will exists or according to the Intestate Succession Act where the deceased left no such will. It further includes the lodgement of Liquidation and Distribution Accounts.

Matrimonial Law, including Family Law

Family law is an area of the law that deals with family matters and domestic relations, including but not limited to: marriage, divorce, civil unions, domestic partnerships, adoption and surrogacy, maintenance and custody.
